Blade: The straight Wharncliffe profile blade comes with a high performance flat grind, fine satin finish and clean slicing plain cutting edge. A fine point offers precision in cutting and piercing while the straight cutting edge delivers power from heel to tip. A comet shaped 'bird's-eye' hole opener offers easy, ambidextrous, one-hand operation on the rugged and reliable bronze washer pivot.
Handle: Durable FRN handles have molded, bidirectional texturing and rounded edges for an ideal balance of comfort and traction. A forward choil delivers added control during use while the time tested back lock keeps the blade secure and resists unintentional opening. Inset, skeletonized steel liners add support for a rock solid foundation.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and takes a razor sharp edge with ease. Edge holding is relatively low.
