Sleek yet capable EDC folders the Connector is easy to carry well and delivers solid performance and style. This liner lock version has a satin finished D2 Wharncliffe blade and black G10 handles. Brand new, direct from Boker Knives. Blade: The slim Wharncliffe blade is D2 tool steel with a fine satin finish and high saber grind offering balanced performance and durability. A bearing pivot offers flawless operation and decisive deployment via the ambidextrous thumb disk. Spine jimping offers added traction in use. Handle: Inset steel liners support streamline G10 scales with comfortable chamfered edges. The inset liner lock is smooth in operation delivering secure lockup. A grooved partial back spacer features a hole for inline lanyard attachment. Carries via a right-hand stainless-steel deep carry clip. D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
