CDO Gear TORQ ONE Everyday Carry Tourniquet Bracelet
Always have a TORQ ONE on You
The CDO Gear TORQ ONE Everyday Carry Tourniquet Bracelet is a lightweight bracelet that folds out in seconds into a CAT style emergency tourniquet.
An emergency trauma tourniquet is a must have everyday carry implement for campers, hikers, hunters, first responders, military personnel, concealed carriers, law enforcement, and more. Usable as an everyday carry bracelet or as an attachment to your keychain, backpack, emergency medical kit, belt loop, tactical vest, or range bag.
- The traditional CAT tourniquet is bulky. It requires a dedicated holster or kit to carry. For everyday carry, it is cumbersome and prone to be left at home, leaving you vulnerable when you need it.
- The patented TORQ ONE tourniquet is compact and lightweight, designed from the ground up for everyday carry.
- The TORQ ONE tourniquet bracelet rapidly deploys into a fully functional and simple-to-use emergency trauma tourniquet to staunch blood loss in the event of injury.
- It can be administered on others or self-administered using one hand. See the accompanying documentation for details on use.
- Usable as a discreet everyday carry bracelet or as an attachment to your keychain, backpack, emergency medical kit, belt loop, tactical vest, or range bag.

Is this a serious medical device like a CAT or SOF? No. The material doesn't instill confidence this would stop arterial bleeds, something you'd want a TQ to do. Honestly the bleeds this would work on, direct pressure would probably suffice. This is not a one handed device either. I have to use my teeth and my opposite hand to anchor this down prior to twisting the windlass. The old RAT TQ would be more effective and those are nearly universally hated amongst most, not all, but most first responders who train and have experienced trauma where massive bleeds needed to be controlled.
THAT SAID, I carry it everyday as a fidget, a conversation piece, and in concept, it's neat. Is it worth the money? Yeah. But as a fidget, a conversation piece, and if you need a strap or tie down for something where you have a way to tighten it, this is cool. But as a serious first aid device? CAT or SOF Tq's are the best metric currently. Shoot, surgical tubing would be better than this.
When I’m working in plain clothes it alway an issue to hide equipment, so I chose this system. It’s now in the med bag somewhere, had to use one on the job and this one took longer than expected and was to small to the leg.
So just be mindful of what your using this system for and I guess it will do it’s job. I’m not willing to try it in the event it’s required. And just as all things this is my experience with this device and you may have better luck.
It is not easy or quick to use, and the chances of it failing are high. I would not recommend anyone rely on this.
